"Childrenin theMiddle"at Teaneck Public Library: 9/24 12-4PM

Bergen County Executive Dennis McNerney and the Department of Health Services announce "Children in the Middle," free parenting education classes for families experiencing divorce or separation. "Children in the Middle" is designed to sensitize parents to the effects of divorce and separation on children and to teach specific techniques and parenting. The life changes of divorce and separation often result in increased stress, grief, fear and anger in parents and children. Children can feel caught in the middle in a variety of ways.

The program will take place in Teaneck at the Teaneck Public Library from 12:00 to 4:00 PM on Saturday afternoons on September 24th.

The program will also be offered each month in Hackensack (on the third Tuesday and Thursday of each month in the evening) and Rutherford (on the second Monday of each month during the day).

County residents interested in attending the free program are required to pre-register by calling the Department of Health Services at 201-634-2695 and may view a complete schedule of classes on the department's website at http://www.BergenHealth.org.
