Library Friday Morning Group"Old Favorites": 9/23 10:30AM
"Old Favorites by Sam & Suzy" will be performed by Sam & Suzy Andrew at the September 23rd meeting of the Teaneck Public Library Friday Morning Group at 10:30 AM. Sam's big ringing voice brings you romantic, adventurous and funny songs you have always loved and Suzy's music gives a special feeling that makes your toes tap and brings a smile to everyone!
Suzy Andrew started play accordion at the age of eight. She has performed in the orchestra with the plays Fiddler on the Roof and Zorba. Suzy started playing piano in her 30's, and continues to study today. She currently plays piano and accordion in retirement communities as a music therapist. She has appeared as a featured soloist with the Bloomfield Symphony Orchestra.
Sam Andrew started his singing career on the Pantages Vaudeville Circuit in Seattle. Since moving to New York he has appeared on Broadway in Inherit the Wind as "Walter Aronson" and has been on national tour with 1776 as "Witherspoon" and Damn Yankees as "Mr. Welch" in Ohio. He has performed in over 30 operas, musicals and plays. He has appeared in many TV commercials.
The public is welcome to attend this free program to be held in the library auditorium and to the coffee and socializing session that precedes it at 10:00 AM. The library is located at 840 Teaneck Road at the corner of Cedar Lane in Teaneck.
