Puffin Heart of Labor Film Series"The Take": 10/20 7PM
On Thursday, October 20th, at 7:00 PM, the Heart of Labor Film Series at the Puffin Cultural Forum presents the film "The Take." The film tells the story of a group of thirty auto parts workers in Buenos Aires who, in the wake of Argentina's 2001 economic collapse, reoccupy their closed plant, start the machines again and refuse to leave.
"The Take" is the 2004 documentary film directed by Avi Lewis and Naomi Klein. The film runs 87 minutes and has not been rated by the Motion Picture Association of America.
