Teaneck Public Library Presents Josh Braff: 10/20 7PM
The Teaneck Public Library presents first time novelist Josh Braff, author of the critically acclaimed "The Unthinkable Thoughts of Jacob Green," who will discuss his writing with high school upperclassmen and college students on Thursday evening, October 20th at 7:00 PM, as part of Teen Read Week festivities.
Braff, brother of Zach Braff (NBC's Scrubs, director and star of the film "Garden State") has written a hilarious and moving debut novel. Set in suburban New Jersey, "The Unthinkable Thoughts of Jacob Green" is a tale of a mid-70's New Jersey boyhood. Jacob's present tense, first-person narration keeps the pace quick and the exquisite plotting ensures that Jacob's growing emotional turmoil is paralleled by metaphorically resonant real-life events.
There is no advance registration required and no fee is involved. For more information, call the Library at 201-837-4171 or visit http://www.Teaneck.org for additional details regarding this and other events, programs and services offered by the Teaneck Public Library.
