THS Benefit Concert for Hurricane Katrina Victims: 9/29 7PM
Tonight, Thursday, September 29th at 7:00 PM, the student-run Teaneck High School Help the Homeless Club will hold a Concert to benefit victims of Hurricane Katrina. Performers will include individual singers and small singing groups, a rock band, individual dancers and small groups of dancers, and other students performers.
This will be the 15th benefit concert staged by the high school student organization, although the first for a tragedy of this magnitude. Over the years, students have raised nearly $25,000. Tickets will be $5, with all proceeds donated to hurricane victims.
The concert will be staged in the high school's Helen B. Hill Auditorium at 100 Elizabeth Avenue just off Queen Anne Road and Route 4 East. Contact club advisor and teacher Sheri Borrin at mailto:sborrin@TeaneckSchools.org or at 201-862-1200 ext. 6110 for further information.
