Puffin"ColorfulWorld ofOpera" Workshop: 9/20-10/25 7-8:30PM

The Puffin Cultural Forum announces the beginning of another season of Back Stage Workshops at the Puffin Cultural Forum. This year we have a new workshop. Beginning on September 20th, Ms. Christine Cullen will be leading an opera appreciation workshop, entitled "Sailing the High C's: A Trip Through the Colorful World of Opera." From Mozart to Puccini, the class will explore the timeless art of Opera, discovering composers, their operas and unforgettable characters. The class will meet Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 PM from September 20th to October 25th. There is a $25.00 course registration fee required prior to the first class.

A soprano opera singer and native of New Milford, New Jersey, Ms. Cullen is a graduate of Westminster Choir College and has performed extensively in the tri-state area in opera and oratorio. She has held leading roles in Die Zauberflote, Falstaff and La Boheme. She recently made her New York City recital debut at Weil Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall.
