Holy Name Hospital Defensive Driving Course: 9/18 9AM-3:30PM
Holy Name Hospital is offering a Defensive Driving Course (DDC-6) on Sunday, September 18th from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM at Holy Name Hospital. The fee for the course is $55 pre-paid and includes the cost of the textbooks and materials.
Defensive Driving is a six-hour classroom course developed by the National Safety Council to sharpen driving skills and to identify and give guidelines to avoid collisions and other preventable driving situations. Taught by a certified instructor, Defensive Driving addresses issues such as driver age, weather conditions, road surfaces, tailgaters, speeding and vehicle characteristics. This course is accredited by the NJ State Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and the NJ Insurance Commission.
It is also approved for a two point reduction on a NJ DMV Driving Record, 5 percent or more reduction in personal (non-commercial) insurance premiums for drivers with four or less points on their DMV License, and .5 elective continuing education units for Emergency Medical Technicians. Ideal for individuals with driving records, companies with fleets and those seeking reduction of their insurance premiums.
