Teaneck Board of Education Regular Public Meeting: 11/9 8PM

The Teaneck Board of Education will be conducting its next Regular Public Meeting for the 2005-06 school year on Wednesday, November 9th at 8:00 in the Staff Development room at the Board of Education Central Administration Offices located at One Merrison Street. The building entrance is at the corner of Merrison and Broad Streets. Street parking is available on both streets, and also in the parking lot off of Teaneck Road behind the building. FDU Men's Soccer vs. Quinnipiac:11/6 1PM

After a 1-0 victory vs. Central Connecticut on Friday, the Fairleigh Dickinson University men's soccer team closes out its regular season as they host Northeast Conference rival Quinnipiac on Sunday afternoon, November 6th, at 1:00 PM at University Stadium in Teaneck.

University Stadium is located off of River Road and Northumberland Road, on the Hackensack River near the ramp to Route 4 West. Tickets are available for General Admission, $3; Students: $2; and, Children (14 & under), $1. For ticket information call 201-692-2172. Holy Name Hospital Blood Pressure Screening: 11/4 1-3PM

Holy Name Hospital, in conjunction with the Teaneck Department of Health and Human Services, will offer free Blood Pressure Screenings on Friday, November 4th from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. The screenings are open to the general public and will be held at Holy Name Hospital in Rosarii Hall. Directions to Rosarii Hall may be obtained at the Information Desk in the Hospital Lobby. No appointment is necessary.

Teaneck Senior Wellness Program at Rodda Center: 11/4 9:30AM

The Township of Teaneck offers the Teaneck Senior Wellness Program in collaboration with Holy Name Hospital to provide a variety of professional resources to address health concerns and wellness issues for Teaneck's senior residents. The following programs take place on Friday, November 4th at the Richard Rodda Community Center, 250 Colonial Court, located at the southern end of Votee Park in Teaneck. Please call the Holy Name Hospital's Community Health Services Department at 201-227-6250 to register for the entire program or for the individual sessions of interest.
