Teaneck Library Music on a Sunday Afternoon: 10/23 3PM
The Teaneck Public Library will kick-off its 2005-2006 Music on Sunday Afternoon concert series, sponsored by The Friends of the Teaneck Library, with a performance of Broadway Spectacular by City Winds Trio on October 23rd at 3:00 PM.
Celebrate 80 years of Broadway with City Winds Trio! City Winds Trio will be performing a selection of Broadway hits from each decade 1890-1980. There will be a small discussion about what musical each piece came from and from what year.
City Winds Trio comprised of Flute, Oboe and Bassoon have performed on many distinguished concert series throughout the East coast. City Winds Trio has performed on the notable chamber series of: Cathedral St. John the Divine- NYC, Riverside Church-NYC, St. Paul's Chapel and Trinity Church- NYC, St. Paul's Chapel at Columbia University, and many more. City Winds Trio also performs a variety of concerts at many public libraries throughout the East Coast, and continues to educate and inspire children through their education program Musical Innovations, which they perform at Montessori Schools and public libraries.
The public is invited to attend this free program to be held in the library auditorium. The library is located at 840 Teaneck Road at the corner of Cedar Lane in Teaneck.
