Teaneck Library Film Series "Girl From Paris":9/14 7:30PM
On Wednesday, September 14th at 7:30 PM the Teaneck Public Library Film Series presents "The Girl From Paris" (Une hirondelle a fait le printemps) in French with English subtitles. The Film Series is sponsored by The Friends of the Teaneck Public Library. Auditorium seating for each film opens at 7:00 PM on a first-come, first-served basis. The film starts at 7:30 PM. All dates are Wednesdays. Admission is free.

"The Girl From Paris" is the story of Sandrine, a woman in her thirties who tires of life in Paris and decides to leave her work in computers and become a farmer. She takes the required practice for two years, and after that she buys an isolated farm from Adrien, an old farmer who decides it's time to retire. However, Adrien wants to stay a few more months before moving away from the farm. The rough winter sets in and together they struggle, each one's dreams and fears clashing and colliding in unpredictable ways... And then there's the French Countryside!
