Holy Name Hospital Diabetes Self-Management Course: 9/26,27&29 7PM

Holy Name Hospital will be offering an ADA Basic Course on Diabetes Self Management in Rosarii Hall. The instructors for this program will be Mikki Reiken, NP, CED and Debra Davidson, RD, CDE. This program will be offered as a series on September 26th, 27th and 29th from 7:00 - 8:30 PM.

This course is recommended for those newly diagnosed with diabetes. A complete overview of diabetes as a chronic disease and instruction in self-management including meal planning, exercise, blood glucose monitoring, medications and stress management. Prevention of acute and chronic complications, behavior change strategies, and risk reduction will be addressed.

You must have a prescription from your physician, recent blood work and required insurance information.
