3 Teaneck Residents Recognized by State of New Jersey as Byrd Scholars
The Department of Education today announced the two hundred and fifteen New Jersey students selected as 2005 Robert C. Byrd Scholarship winners. The federal scholarship program is administered by the New Jersey Department of Education. The scholarships are awarded to the most academically talented members of high school graduating classes.
Congratulations to the three Teaneck residents -- Joseph Lefkowitz (Teaneck High School), Eliezer Stavsky (Torah Academy of Bergen County) and Emily Steinberger (The Frisch School) -- who were recognized with this honor.
